The PROMISERS Project is participating in European Hydrogen Week 2026, one of Europe’s premier events dedicated to hydrogen research, innovation, and market deployment. Held at Brussels Expo, the event brings together researchers, technology developers, industry representatives, policymakers, and investors from across Europe to discuss the latest advances and future challenges in the hydrogen sector.
As a key meeting point for the European hydrogen community, European Hydrogen Week provides an excellent platform to foster collaboration, exchange knowledge, and accelerate the development of clean energy solutions that support the transition towards climate neutrality.
PROMISERS at the Heart of Europe’s Hydrogen Ecosystem
Representing the project during the event are Marcel Boerrigter and Sofia Paulo Mirasol, who are welcoming visitors and stakeholders throughout the week at the HER Pavilion (Stand F30).
Their participation provides an opportunity to present the latest progress achieved within PROMISERS and discuss how the project is contributing to the development of more sustainable hydrogen technologies.
PROMISERS focuses on the development of innovative PFAS-free components for PEM fuel cells and PEM electrolyzers, replacing conventional fluorinated materials with sustainable alternatives based on hydrocarbon and cellulose-derived materials. Through this approach, the project aims to reduce the environmental impact of hydrogen technologies while maintaining the performance required for industrial applications.
